But it is not always easy to bring up an image of an object and I have found it difficult to make my specimens of television stone reflect exactly as reported.

Where Is It From? Ulexite Meaning & Mineral Makeup

The meaning of the Ulexite name comes from it being named after the German chemist George L Ulex but it is also known as TV rock or stone.

George Ulex resolved its chemical formula. Its mineral make-up is hydrated sodium calcium borate hydroxide or the mineral borax.

They most commonly are available as a white rounded crystalline masses and although it is commonly white in color, some have semi-clear patches.

This is the most well known of the borate minerals. 

There are a number of other stones containing the trace element boron that also have beneficial metaphysical properties including Howlite, Kernite and Colemanite.

Ulexite is a structurally complex mineral that is commonly located in evaporative deposits and is found after the evaporation of water.

This leaves a tuft of acicular crystals that often resembles a cotton ball, but most of the stones used for metaphysical purposes are white rounded crystals.

The biggest deposits of this stone are in arid regions such as the deserts in the United States.

It forms in the arid climate of Death Valley in the Californian Mountains and one of the principal places that the stone comes from is the U.S. borax mine in the Kramer District in Boron California.

Other well known places where it is from, includes the Tarapaca Region in Chile and Kazakhstan as well as in Germany, China, Turkey, Argentina, Canada and Nevada in the United States.

Ulexite is not as common as some stones, but it has some the potential to aid you to develop many useful gifts.
